o1. How to Register for an Account and Log On

Step 1. Click [Register] up at the top of the page.

Step 2. Read the Forum terms of service on the next page and hit “I accept these terms.”

Step 3. Choose a username. This is the name that everyone on the site will know you by. You can change it later by editing your profile, but we suggest you keep it the same after registering. To maintain your safety while you are on our site, please DO NOT use any part of your real name or any nicknames that someone could use to determine your real name. Keep the use of random numbers and symbols to a minimum, please.

Step 4. Enter a valid email address. You will later receive an activation link sent to this email, and any emails you receive from the forum will be sent to this email inbox, so make sure it is an account you can still access.

Step 5. Choose a password. It should be complicated enough that no one could guess it, but something that you can remember. DO NOT use any personal information like names, credit card numbers, or dates of birth. When you are done, hit “Save” and move on.

Step 6. Retype your password.

Step 7. Enter the confirmation code. Hit “Save” and move on.

Step 8. Go to your email and open the message from Light Way Academy.

Step 9. Click on the activation link and return to the [Index].

Step 10. Select Log On at the top of the page.

Step 11. Enter your username and password. If you would like to be logged on automatically every time you visit the page, leave the box below the password field selected.

Step 12. Hit the Log On button and you are all set!
